Loveless Story

Every six hours, a woman is murdered in an act of femicide in Brazil.

Research has shown that men who commit these crimes follow a pattern that unfolds in eight stages:

1/Stalking

2/The relationship escalating too quickly

3/Psychological control

4/A trigger that threatens the abuser’s control

5/Increasing frequency or intensity of abuse

6/A shift in plans

7/Planning the femicide

8/The act of femicide

In partnership with UOL and Instituto Gloria, we launched Loveless Story—an audio series available on major streaming platforms. Told across eight episodes, the story follows Eduardo as he exhibits behaviors linked to each stage of the Femicide Timeline against Júlia. The series is narrated by Luana Piovani, a renowned Brazilian actress and outspoken advocate for women’s rights.

This project uses the power of storytelling to raise awareness about abusive relationships. By recognizing these warning signs—whether in their own relationships or those of a friend—women can seek help before it’s too late. And because the series is in audio format, they can listen safely and discreetly, without anyone knowing.
